Saturday, noon to 4pm - Brunch 'n Fun at the nearby Grand Vision Annex (434 W. 6th Street, a few doors down from the Warner Grand).

Macabre Fantasy Radio Theater is an audio drama in the style of "Old Time Radio" featuring original adaptations of classic weird tales/horror stories. For the 2012 HPLFF-LA they will be performing an adaptation of Lovecraft's, The Statement of Randolph Carter, as though it had been produced for radio in the 1930's (yes, live sound effects!). An unusually large catch of gigantic pacific tuna was hauled in by the fishing vessels of San Pedro on August 30th, 2012. In the net of one of these bountiful catches was a strange sculpture which is the same one that was believed lost in a freak tropical storm that struck San Pedro in September of 1939... Read more
